Spotted at LR Farmington Hills today - silver gray RR (new type) with silvered out windows - chromed spoke 22inch wheels, with spinning blade centers - It looked like something out of a P Diddy rap video. What a waste!! Some folks just don't have a clue! |

It's a damn share! I've only seen two new Range Rovers that look good - a white one and a black one - both just how I guess they came from LR. The rest have been way too bling bling. Chome, tints, 22" wheels, etc. Makes you just sick! |

You know, I used to knock people for doing the "bling-bling" with the new Range Rover, but I don't anymore. Land Rover has pushed the Range Rover into this realm with their choices in how they build it, market it, and option it. So what it someone takes off the 18s and puts on 20s. Not many of us would take a new RR offroad anyway so why not option the thing out for road use. Yea, maybe the chrome and spinners are excessive for road use, but likely no further "out there" on the street side than what some of us do to our trucks for the trail side. ...to each his own -P |

Yeah-as annoying as it is, if it weren't for all those people that purchase LR products for "whatever" reason, they are simply supporting LR and parts suppliers that in the end make our ownership less expensive. The more "bling-bling" vehicles or "soccer moms" or mall 4x4's out there the more used LR's will be on the secondary used market for offroad use in the future. If LRNA had to depend only on offroaders for new vehicle purchases they wouldn't stay afloat. Unfortunately I think they are more and more catering to the NON-offroading buyers with product development-that isn't good. |
