Anyone have a CD player mounted in the stock vertical position on an 89 RR? Should I just get a cassette with a changer? My past experience with my D90 is most single disc players don't like the vertical position. |

I had a Sony CD/AM/FM in my 88RRC for two years. No problems. It was a tight fit and did get hot (right next to the heater core!) -John |

i have one in my 1990 classic. the instructions said not to mount it at that angle but ive had no problems. It will stick up about an 1/8" though, as most sonys are a little deeper than the stock location. |

I have a Blaupunkt CD/AM/FM w/removeable flip face and it seems to operate fine with CD's. My biggest problem is crappy radio reception with the "window antenna". |

I think I'm going to just go for the CD changer |

I've got a Sony flip face and a changer and they both work fine. Admitedly I don't like the look of the Sony and how bright it is, but it plays CDs fine in that position. pwc |
