Hi there,

being a 89RRC my rig has this canister to filter the fuel fumes evaporating from the fuel tank;

I´m thinking of simply removing the canister (could use the space for sth else).

Would this confuse the ECU (Lucas 14CU)?
(I know the Motronic systems make the fuel mixture a little leaner everytime the purge valve opens, because some fuel is drawn out of the canister then. Maybe this could create an error code).
