I found this picture on another site, but no one knew anything about it. It possibly was built for the Paris-Dakar Rally, but I can't find anything out about it. It appears to be an XC70 with Volvo portal axles under it. I love it!

Yes, it does have Portals under it. I saw a write up on this thing some where on the web a few months ago but, I don't remember where. If I find it I'll post it for ya. |

I got the XC90 brochure, it'll have the same 2.9L
twin turbo as the S80 (268hp)and has a ground clearance of 8.6in. I still don't believe the sales rep saying it has off-road capabilities. It's suppose to be at the dealers by late Nov.
Ford bought all those companies for their "world car" concept. Volvo for safety,LR for off-road rugginess,Aston for power plant,etc. |
