I need help. My wifes' '99 Volvo s70 has some goofy problems on cold mornings. When you try and start it, you have to keep the accelerator floored. It finally starts but coughs and acts as if it choking until it starts idling at the normal speed. Sometimes, a black puff along with some water squirts out. (condensation?) It doesn't act up in the heat of the summer when it is dry. Please help! Kai |

Possibly an idle sensor causing it to run too rich on start up? |
