In the new Harbor Freight catalog there is a "Universal Code Reader" that is supposed to work on any vehicle 1996 and up with the OBDII connection for $49.99. I don't know if it is on the website but the item number is 46030-0CPA. I think I will keep letting Auto Zone do it for free but I figured some of the rest of you might be interested.
