I have two: 2000 Yamaha Kodiak 4X4 - stock 1997 Yamaha Warrior with full skids and K&N with Precharger plus aggresive Maxxis tires So what is the intent of your question? I noticed that you did not post what you ride or what mods you have done. Curtis |

Phillip, Thanks - I just learned somthing. I had no idea that there was a Detroit gearless locker available for the Yamaha front diffs until I read your response. Sure enough $375 and I can get my front end locked up. I am not sure if the BB is selectable 4X like the Kodiak, but I only put it in 4X about 2% of the time. The bike handles much better in 2X. Still - a locking front diff would come in handy when 4X is needed. Curtis (trikes rock) |

I got a Polaris Sportsman 500, pretty amazing machine. We use it mostly for work, getting the mail, clearing tree brush and hauling loads of dirt. Sometimes I use it to pull the rover out of the pond... |
