Does anybody (dealer, etc.) carry the original underhood stickers for a '93 LWB. The condition of my engine compartment isn't bad but the stickers are definitely tatty. Wouldn't mind sprucing it up a bit with a fresh set of the appropriate stickers. |

I got an idea here, forget the OE stuff & go for the obvious. for the rad; hot as hell, grasp tightly & hold on forever. for the fan; insert hands, wait for pain for the belts; grasp moving parts for finger removal, dial 911 first! for the fuel lines; damage rubber parts, wait for fire. emissions sys; remove & plug hoses for maximum problems. pardon the sarcasm Bill, a 10 yr old rover is not a showpeice, or a collectors car. its a rover; enjoy it as it is! forget the stickers & spend the $ on maintinence & upgrades! newsie did that, & is now (NON)stickerman! I saved a bunch by shoppin & have removed a bunch of stickers that I thought were cool to have on my rig, I got laughed at for advertising stuff my rig didnt have even tho it was in the 'plan' now I feel stupid & have to find a way of removing stickers without taking my paint too! no more decals for da stickerman! for the OE decals, the dealer is the only source for your car (93 LWB) non-stickerman used to B newsie (no more byline, new wipe) now trying to do the outdoor scenario for a regional/mag co & hope to have my RRC it print soon. even if its an ad shot. newsie |

Bill Most of the stickers have their part numbers printed right on them. I order some of them myself from a parts supplier in the UK. There are occations where someone other than myself opens the hood, ex: emisions inspection, A/C service, body shops. That's why the stickers are there. Randall |

Hey Goober(er newsie), Is that you? Does Floyd know you're on his computer again? You know if he catches you you'll be gettin' your haircuts in Mt. pilot for the next year! Miss Crum says if you stop with the appalachian haiku/iambic pentameter or whatever, she'll give you your high school diploma. (I stuck up for you-I told her Floyd's computer is broken). Anyway, Anj says you better not park your old series rover in front of the courthouse any more because if Otis slips again in all that oil he's gonna sue! Your friend, Barney |

Stickerman - I hear you, but up here in Ontario they actually read the things during the e-check. At least this last crew did (or actually they tried and that's my point of asking the question). Apparently the emissions label must be readable; so if I have to renew that one, I might as well freshen up the lot. And by the way, my '93 may not be collectible, but I love it anyway. Thanks guys for the info (and to Barney - keep an eye on that bullet). Cheers, Bill |
