would any one know this problem. no heat to rear of vehicle, no heat when blower active, no heat to foot wells. if the ac compressor when engaged is not turning is it shot. should heat blow if ac is in on position. could there be a vent flap broken as cold air comes through all the time. and minimal heat through circular vents |

Sounds like a vent/flap is stuck. See the diagrams in the other thread. with the far left control lever all the way down, you should get any cold air coming in. Also turn the bottom left selector to recycle (far right) to help cut off new cold air coming in. You can actually have heat and AC blowing at the same time. Goofy, but true. pwc |

you dont get heat thru the front vents , those are AC or ambient reclycled air. if you put the swithc onto heater, you can feel it on the wind sheild/feet. if a hose is disconected and that is common it will just heat up under the dash. it's all very simple to take apart and look. rd |
