Hopefully it´s tight now. There was a very slow leak (20-30ml over 1/4year)and not easy to spot. It seemed like it was coming from the adjuster screw on its top cover and covered the hole assy with oil (first giving the impression the hoses were guilty). Apparently a new nut solved it (so far no oil emerging after couple of weeks; but not quite convinved myself). The Manual says this nut (with a built-in seal) is to be replaced on overhaul, which is funny, because the box was a "new" Rover replacement unit and leaked shortly after installation.
