Musky,

I'm a VW fanatic as well. I think they produce nice cars but that thing is ugly

I've owned a 73 bug, 97 jetta and a 90 corrado g60 which I still drive everyday. I'm sure that thing is very capable in doing what it was intended for, but I seriously think it's butt ugly IMHO. I think they could've done better in the aesthetics department...

glenn ,

just think how cool it would be to drop down on the center grass of the garden state parkway and just punch it. traffic is stopped and your doing 100mph in the grass.

nice pipe dream !

It's kind of an interesting design. I can't decide how I feel about it. I'm willing to bet it kicks ass in the performance department. In the looks department, it looks like they're going for an aggressive appearance, but it just falls short, I'm left with images of Herbie the Love Bug rolling around in my head.

everybody hated the look of Ivan stewarts "toyota" race truck when he debuted it then they all saw how unbeatable the design was and now everybody does it that way and that look has reached everybody...looks like even VW

I like it.
They need a 4-door so I can take my wife & kids.
And a roof rack for all our gear.
And more storage inside.

musky,

LOL... that would be an interesting way of using this thing as I was stuck there (GSP) yesterday coming back home because a couple of cars decided to bump into each other...

The VW dunebuggy revisited for 2005

Looks similar to other auto show concept cars that I have seen. BUT, on the other hand they have a hostory for this type of car.
