My local Rover source (sells and services anything European) called me last night. I've bought 8 cars from the guy (everything from Mercedes to 3 Rovers) and he restored my last MG. The guy is really too honest to be a mechanic let alone sell used cars. Anyway, he's got a 2000 4.0 HSE, 44,000 miles, silver on gray leather, 18" wheels, all the toys. Says it's mine for $25K. BTW, never wrecked, flooded, burned etc. Am I nuts for drooling over this thing?

Holy crap, buy it. Even if you don't keep it. If there is nothing wrong with it, that cars Kelly here in WA is $41K. without tons of toys.

2000 Range Rover - 4.6 HSE - BOSCH - 24k miles Oxford Blue $37,900 -

2000 Range Rover - 4.0 SE - BOSCH - 42k miles Niagara Gray $29,900

I thought HSEs were the 4.6 engine and the SE were the 4.0

Even if the SE, looks to be a good price.

Oops, your right, slipped the "H" in there by mistake. Maybe it's a Freudian thing...

If you want it, buy it. You will be sorry later if you don't. Also you can always sell it for 25k in the next year or so if need to. I sincerely hope it works out for ya!
