Well, this should bring the overall content integrity of the board up............ not.

I brought an Egg Salad Sandwich today, but am instead getting in on a group order with a pint of Hot and Sour Soup and a pint of Kung Pao Chicken.

What is everyone else having?

Okay, but I think you guys missed the fact that Garrett and his apple butter are not in Philly. They are over in State College.

Don't bring your filth to such a wonderfully, clean saint of a town as Philly. I mean, I didn't even hear of anyone getting shot in Philly last night on the radio this morning..........

Thinking of heading to Dixie's BBQ to meet "The Man". Believe me, it is the hottest damn BBQ I've ever seen/heard of/tasted in my life. Hell, it's the hottest thing I've ever had.

Off the tracks, into the ditch, it's another Classic Thread on DiscoWeb! I'm with Eric, it beats everyone bitchin'.

While reading this I got a spam email from Omaha Steaks. Make of that what you will.

I'll be having half an Italian cold cut sub with an Aleve chaser. Threw my back out and dislocated a rib in a barn drama on Sunday. Hmmm, this probably calls for more chocolate, too.

Greg, I've been buying on ebay today, and I want to eat the house down. What do you think that means?????

Tom,

Ugh, we had a disaster in the barn on Sunday. Fed breakfast, and in the time between that and turning out, my most talented horse twisted her gut. NO discernable reason, just a spontaneous event, ending of course in euthanasia. We're sick about it. In the fun and frolic that ensued, trying to keep her up and uncast (fortunately we have the indoor arena to use) I popped a rib. Really painful, but not serious. My heart, well, that will take a long time to heal. Wish there was Aleve and physical therapy for that.

Karen :( :( :(

I'm so sorry. My heart goes out to you, ribs who cares just don't take any deep breaths, seeing that empty stall that hurts. So sorry to hear about that.

Tom,

I'm in civil engineering, designing asphaltic pavement roads & highways. Presently, I'm looking for a job in said field, so mostly I'm hanging out on DWeb, playing SAHD (stay at home dad)and playing my latest game, Ghost Recon... Hey, I just got word that the crawfish season has started early and strong. Let me know how the quality is this season (I presume you suck heads?!).

Peace,
Don

Tom,

Thanks. I'm still reflexivly glancing into her stall every time I pass by. You're right, that hurts WAY more than the ribs. Three days of lessons, and all those questions, down, one more to go tomorrow. It's tough to answer everyone's questions, especially when we're all hurting about it. She was a spectacular horse and though she was hell on wheels sometimes, she added a lot of excitement and beauty to our barn and contributed immeasurably to my student's knowledge. Great horse.

Don

Havn't heard about the crawfish season yet, I've tried sucking heads, din't do anything for me. To answer the next question you'll have yes I'm a transplant. I can see why you moved, not much work for civil eng down here. They are working on the I-10 trying to make traffic flow better. Don't know how long its been since you were here last. Added extra lane at the I-10 610 split added a new airport exit in kenner and just started adding an extra lane both ways between clearview and causway. Do you come down here anymore?

Tom
