I know that it's been asked before but are there any LR Disco remote controlled models? Any LR models? I've searched all over but my brother claims to have seen them but cannot tell me where. |

I saw this one in Land Rover Owner International Magazine. It's pretty cool, but not a Disco. http://www.freeserveauctions.com/Scripts/ListingInfo.asp?LotNo=22473697&SiteCatNo=58985 |

I've never seen an RC Disco. I did, however, see an RC Rangie on the back of one of the competitor's vehicles in a recent episide of Full Metal Challenge. It was on the British team's rig, and was painted the same yellow as their vehicle, and appeared to be 1/10 scale. There are 3 versions of the Matchbox DII out, and there are some generic 1/32 scale diecast vehicles around. Not sure about 1/43 scale Discos. No plastic Discovery models that I know of either. |

There was a gentlman on EBay several weeks ago who was selling custom-made 1/10 or 1/12 scale poly-carb series bodies that looked like they would fit on a Tamiya or Kyosho chassis. I remember the auction said that he would be selling a few throughout the year, or something like that. |

How about this one: http://wsepp.purespace.de/sonst/rover1.jpg There was a 1/10 scale RC Modell build by "Robbe". I'll try to find something more. |

Yes, please do.. That would be perfect to put on top of my Kyosho USA-1 monster truck. |

Sorry, the link below is all I got. I don't think it's still available. If someone likes to try: www.robbe.de found at http://www.csse.monash.edu.au/~lloyd/tildeLand-Rover/Toys/ click on "Robbe": -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Robbe. Discovery, 1:10, radio control! It's a 1:10 remote control discovery from ROBBE. It has 4wd, 3 diffs, aluminium chassis, freestyle rims, transparent body. It comes with electric-motor. The rc-sender and so on are not included! The only problem is the price: 399.00 DM. But who knows - it's time to buy Xmas gifts. - Thorsten email: tklein AT MZDMZA.ZDV.UNI-MAINZ.DE [10/1995] |

I went to the Robbe site and the Disco isn't listed any more. The above reference was dated 1995, so it may have been discontinued. |
