Help! I am in the process of adding fog lamps to a D2 2002 SD with no schematics or shop manuals. I am running into a problem with the fog lamp momentary switch. My SD currently has a fog lamp switch in the upper left cutout of the binacle,(I believe it is for rear fog lamps) connected to a blue plug. Beneath it, there is an unconnected green plug. The problem is that the connector of the fog lamp switch that LR parts sold me does not match the available plug in the binnacle. LR parts referred to the switch as a "secondary switch", and it has a "2" with an LED on the front. It is LR part number STC50098 - Switch Front Fog. Can anyone help? Thanks, Keith |

Keith, Are you adding factory fogs or aftermarket? I added aftermarket and had to get a cruise control switch and fog lamp switch and swap the face plates, since the fog switch was momentary, while the cruise latches on/off. I'm not sure on factory fogs, but maybe you swap the two switches? Keep the one on top in the top, but swap the plugs and the new secondary switch ("2") becomes your rear fog switch??? You'll need the dealer to turn on your fog lights with the test book. Hopefully someone will be able to help you out more than me! Scott |

The switch that they have sold you is for front driving lights. The part number that you need is: YUG102620 which is the switch for front fogs |
