Well, we are still thinking about our car situation and one more scenario we have come up with is to keep our little miata, and get a RR or another Disco cheap. I've been able to find some older RR's and Disco's for a pretty good prices. Or we'll just get a Saab/VW/whatever.

What do you think?

Zak-
You have a Disco and a Miata and IMHO a Jetta would finish off the stable quite nicely. With a VW you always have at least one car that's cheap to run and will fit the whole family for trips, errands ect. I had mentioned earlier that we also are looking at Jetta's. Tomorrow we will test a 98' and a 99' Jetta. The 98' has 58k mile for $6900.00 and the 99' has 31k miles for $10,900. They are 1 owner off-lease cars and I am sure we will end up getting one of them. Both are the GL with the basic stuff. What is your opinion of those prices since you have been looking around? Both are in excellent condition and look great.

Zack,
We have a Suburban and a Z3. Four kids and everything is great! I of course lost my Rover temorarily! But with a small family have the wife use the Rover daily and you drive the miata.

THey sound like very good prices Snow, very good indeed. I like the 98. Heck, only a few more miles and 4 grand cheaper. I've been leaning towards VW's lately as well. My wife still likes the Saabs.

We really want to have two cars that the whole family can be in. Being that the rover has been in the shop a bit with warrenty items, I'd like to have another car we can use.

The rover idea came up when my wife noticed a few pretty large scratches on the disco. One goes down to bare metal. I'll have to fix that one. She wants to keep that disco as nice as possible. Just a though. I'd get a cheaper RR and use it for trail riding etc.

At least we ahve a lot of options.

Hey Gregg, what do you think of hte new Z4's. I'm not crazy about them.

I know of a really cheap 89.

shoot alyssa or me an email. 90-95s have some really spendy brake components which you have to be carefull of.
