The NWS is predicting 10-20 inches of accumlation before it turns to light snow showers after midnight. I know it was snowing up there Christmas eve and they were still calling for more. Here in Salt Lake, all the weather ding-dongs on ALL channels said: "No white Christmas!" We have not had our normal snowfall in the valley and there is zero snow on the ground. Wake up at 5:45AM to take the kids to look at Santas goodies under the tree and there was a fresh 2" or so on the ground. Light snow and flurries all day long. My sister in law's exploder, which sat in the driveway all night had snow up to the bottom of the windows. Spent all AM with the snow shovel and blower. We ended up getting about 6 inches of snow that day. I'm about 20 miles west of Philly. And, no snow blower here, I had to shovel that damn drive 3 times that day.
