Tow Bar - Should I?

Author Message   Horness Spencer (Horness) Posted on Thursday, March 14, 2002 - 04:37 am:    I have the option to pick up an almost new LR tow bar (with the full electrics etc.) quite cheap. The main reason I was thinking of it was to (a) act as protection for the fuel tank, and (b) to assist with towing, or being towed if someone gets a bit stuck. I don't have a trailor etc., and don't see me getting one. Is it worth it? Or should I try and find a fuel tank guard for the back? Any help / advice appreciated
