What do you wish for the world in 2003? I for one want Dan Akroyd to stop with the corney "Blues Brother" voice on his weekly radio blues show.

I hope we kick the shit out of Iraq, remove Sadam and his entire family from the earth and...... send one B-2 over to Korea to eliminate this so called nuclear threat.

Sorry about the hate, but I am tired of the US being nice to everyone.

On a happier note, for '03, I am looking forward to partying with the same lunatics I met last year during the upcoming Rover Events. :)

If I had two wishes I could make this holiday season, the first would be for all the children of the world to join hands and sing in the spirit of harmony and peace. And the second would be for 30 million dollars a month to be given to me, tax-free in a Swiss bank account.

Paul-
Many would agree your statements are not hate, but a logical solution to the present threat to the world, not just the U.S. like the worldwide press seems to regurjatate. Personally I believe we are working on it and and Mr. Hoover is smiling broadly from wherever he was sent.

My daughter is getting married 2 months from today. For her and her new husband, I wish for happiness and prosperity. For the rest of us, Peace on Earth and Goodwill toward All. (Some Rover goodies for myself would be nice, too.)

I would like for all that is right and good to persist against that which is not, and all that all that is not to be made so, according to what we all understand as just.

Cheers,

I wish for a healthy and happy baby that shall arrive soon, and a peaceful world for him/her to live in. And void of piece of shit-good for nothing-scum sucking f'ing terrorist's and people hell bent on death and destruction.

Also a nice diesel Golf in my driveway and a RR or disco or Series to play with and beat the snot out of.

Paul,
Actually, I think he'd be amused..... :)

You know, if I had three wishes I could make this holiday season, the first, of course, would be for all the children of the world to get together and sing, the second would be for the 30 million dollars every month to me, and the third would be for encompassing power over every living being in the entire universe.

:)

You can't beat the classic Steve Martin.

Leslie N. Bright (Leslie)
Posted on Wednesday, January 01, 2003 - 09:33 pm:   Edit Post Delete Post Print Post

lol....

And if I had four wishes that I could make this holiday season, the first would be the crap about the kids definitely, the second would be for the 30 million, the third would be for all the power, and the fourth would be to set aside one month each year to have an extended 31-day orgasm, to be brought out slowly by Rosanna Arquette and that model Paulina-somebody, I can't think of her name. Of course my lovely wife can come too and she's behind me one hundred percent here, I guarantee it. Wait a minute, maybe the sex thing should be the first wish, so if I made that the first wish, because it could all go boom tomorrow, then what do you got, y'know? No, no, the kids, the kids singing would be great, that would be nice. But wait a minute, who am I kidding? They're not going to be able to get all those kids together. I mean, the logistics of the thing is impossible, more trouble than it's worth! So -- we reorganize! Here we go. First, the sex thing. We go with that. Second, the money. No, we got with the power second, then the money. And then the kids. Oh wait, oh jeez, I forgot about revenge against my enemies! Okay, I need revenge against all my enemies, they should die like pigs in hell! That would be my fourth wish. And, of course, my fifth wish would be for all the children of the world to join hands and sing together in the spirit of harmony and peace. Thank you everybody and Merry Christmas.

:)

The proverbial Dweb thread 360! No problem, I can talk about Steve Martin all day. In the 70's I was fortunate to see him in concert in a very small venue in the Mid-West, he's always been a big hero of mine. It makes me want to dig out my vinyl and listen to "King Tut" with my son just to see his reaction. Of course while I am at it I might as well crank up Styx, Supertramp, Foreigner, Queen and all of my other classic 70's stuff. And of course who can forget "Kung-Fu Fighting"? Now where did I put those bellbottoms and French cuffed shirts?

Leslie,

Paulina Porizkova. However, I think that I would go for someone else like Nikki Fritz for instance. But, if it was an SI model I would have to say Elsa Benitez...

My wish for this year is that my daughter is born healthy and that my wife makes it through the birth without any problems. I have many, many, more but, that is the only really important one.

Sus (Susannah)

Eric...way to save that "SI" comment with your wife and daughter wishes! I hope the same for you and also for Zak who is expecting a little one as well.

I wish that I make it through the wedding planning without harming a family member; that my fiance and I have fun and enjoy ourselves, and that we get to spend that time with everyone that we love.

I also wish that we don't go to war so that people can keep their loved ones at home.

And some money would be nice....to 'upkeep' the Disco and play with her a little in the mud!

HAPPY 2003 TO ALL!

If my biggest worry for the year '03 is checking back here every 5mins to see if I need to correct someone for their spelling or use of grammar, or carry on some useless long-forgotten argument for 3 days just to prove I graduated from high school with basic english knowledge, Ill be deliriously happy.
