Has anyone purchased that CDL handle that you attach to the frame rail and pull/push to engage/disengage? This is for the DII. It's available for about $70 and I was wondering if anyone has any opinions on it... |

I got one and it was simple to install and to use. My only problem is that my rear diff went out after wheeling with the cd locked....but this is probably just coincidence. |

David, Have you had an opportunity to find out what part actually failed? Under what conditions were you driving when the rear diff failed? Thanks, Chris U |

Chris, The vehicle developed a whine when coasting at any speed above 20 mph, in gear or in neutral. The sound would disappear when ever the throttle was applied. The sound started on the way home for some moderate off roading and going through one deep mud hole. Can't tell you exactly what parts failed. Work was done under warranty. I doubt that the cdl was an issue. David |

Where would one find the CDL handle kit? I am interested in CDL but not the high price/hard labour involved in new linkages or selenoid. |
