So I was driving down the road in the "nice" 96 disco and at about 40mph I hear this deep rumbling. Alyssa hears it too. I do my normal turn down the stereo and listen, wheel bearing, something in the exhaust, R380, T-case, sounded really expensive. Could not really tell where it was coming from as the noise was so deep (not high pitched). Alyssa was like just turn the radio back up. Turned out it was coming from the roof rails I installed, the wind was rumbling through them. Oh well glad that was all, knock on wood trim Ron |

Interesting how noise is so instantly scary. Even if you see or feel nothing, it's the noises that always bring on the paranoia. My truck, for example, handles perfectly well, all suspension nuts are tight, but it always makes a slight creaky noise in turns. And it freaks me out. |
