Is a Borla cat back system street legal in the state of california? Justr wanted to check beofre i moved, i mean i am still moving, but it may affect my exhaust moving with me... |

I think its legal (at least with most cars out here) to change anything you want AFTER the cat. As long as you don't tamper with the cat or anything BEFORE the cat, you can be 100% assured that its legal. In fact, I believe you can ever remove the muffler entirely and all would be ok as long as exhaust wouldn't be too loud. -terry |

Yes, It's legal. John Lee has a Borla on his D90. |

Easy way to find out -- call or e-mail Borla. Generally Borla tries to get 50 state compliance with its products and includes the E.O. (executive order)number for each system. You could also check the documentation that came with it (if you still have it). |

I have passed several NJ state inspections with a Borla, and New Jersey is just as bad, if not worse than California when it comes to emissions, so there should not be a problem. |
