Fuel filler hose size

Author Message   Jeffry Scott (Jeffry) Posted on Monday, January 06, 2003 - 09:58 pm:    Need to replace the fuel hose which runs between the filler and the tank, it is about 12 inches long and 2-1/2 inches in diameter. My question is, what size is the INNER diameter of the hose. The auto store has 2-3/8, 2-1/2, 2-1/4 etc ... and it is $10 per foot, so I want to measure right. I can't really take the hose off, because then I couldn't get to the auto store to get the correct hose. thanks, jeffry
