This is weird... My headlights will only go on in "dim" mode -- meaning, when in the "on" position the headlight bulbs are creating the same small amount of light that the sidelights (the little bulbs that are below the headlight bulbs) usually create while the sidelights don't go on at all. I'm not sure what the problem is but it seems that the Rover is confused -- delivering the power that is supposed to go to the sidelights instead to the headlights. When only the parking lights are on there is no light at all in the headlamps. I have a feeling that it has something to do with the fusebox......one time i managed to get the headlights and sidelights to operate normally by leaving some fuses out and fiddling/jiggling around others. I may be wrong though and am open to any and all suggestions! |

Sounds like just your "city lights" are on - small 5 watt bulbs that are in with the main headlight bulbs. I'd bet on a bad stalk switch from a bunch of similar posts recently. Bill |

Dutch, check your console (lights behind the speedometer etc...) lights and if they are not coming on as well, it must be the stalk not working. If they do, come back and let us know. |

In that case I am inclined to say it is a grounding issue. I am not really sure where to start but maybe in the fuse box as you messed with it and started working for a bit. Anyone esle? |
