I have a 95' disc 1 and a standard 4 plug connection on my new trailer. I can't find a direct electrical connector in the aftermarket or even the dealer. What wires from the elaborate 10 wire connector dangling in the driver's side tailight housing do I tap into to get the trailer lights to work. I tried measuring the voltage with the running lights on the Rover and then with directionals working and couldn't get a proper reading. It appears only one wire gives a 12 volt reading, but that's all the time whether the car lights are on or not! Help!!!! |

you either have to buy the LR adapter plug, or make you own. the factory connector is behind the access panel for the tail lights on the passenger side. instructions are in the Tech Section on how to use a flat-4 connector. |

Thanks! I'll check it out tonight when I get home. I was looking in the driver's side tailight panel! I had no idea there was another harness setup in the passenger side. Brings up an interesting question, what's the driver side harness for? |

make sure to get the better universal adapter that uses its own power feed. otherwise if you pull a trailer that has lots of lights or a bad ground the amp draw will all be on your disco's stock wires. the thick purple wire is the one to fuse the power feed for the converter to. |
