Guys, I’m looking for a cargo divider that will work with my back seats folded down.
The goal is to load the back of my DII and not have articles smack me in the back of my head.
I see the LR ‘s dog guard and Trek’s cargo divider work with the rear seats up. Does anyone know of any dividers that work with the seats folded down?
Thanks
Neil

safety devices makes on, but you may have to have an internal roll cage. Not sure if they have one that works without the roll cage.

Or, if you bought both Trek pieces, you could load everything on top of the shelf.

Neil,

I have this. Basically what it does is wedge itself in the spot. You just tighten wing nuts. I'm happy enough with it. It goes in and removes fairly easily. I would say the only down side is that it probably wouldn't stop something heavy from flying forward during a head on collision. Probably slow it down though.

I think there's a company in Australia that makes a cargo rack that will slide forward when your seats are folded down. Problem is, I can't remember the name of the company. Sorry.

In case you, or anyone else is interested in that Milford barrier, here is the information I just got emailed from the US Distributor. It's out of my current budget and they only have one right now, so maybe someone else wants it:

From WWW.MIDWESTLANDCRUISER.COM

"Greg;

Thanks for the inquiry. The barrier is $329 plus shipping and I have one
left in stock, the next one will arrive in about 10-12 weeks. I will check
to see if the front mounting kit is the same as for an 80 series Toyota Land
Cruiser, then I may have a free one for you. I'm verifying the security
blind attachment kit is included. Shipping is via FedEx 3-day air
(unfortunately it can't go via ground because of the size of 58" x6" x 45")
will be $80, which is capped by me, even though the actual cost with my 13%
discount is $91.08. Installation requires drilling holes into the inside of
the vehicle so you may want to have someone else install it if that makes
you uncomfortable.

Regards,

Jim Wilkerson"

Greg, did he mean free as in not charging you? Damn, if you don't take that, I will. I'll make it fit somehow!

After reading it closer, he meant a free mounting kit, didn't he?

Hey Guys,
thanks for the info. I'm with you Greg, a little out of my price range but may be good for a future purchase. Weathertech it will be.

Thanks again
Neil

Yes, a free forward mounting kit if I bought the guard. It's capable of mounting behind the drivers/passengers seats also.
