I have a pull to the left when accelerating.

Here is what i have fixed or cecked so far.

rear trailing links...straight and new
track rod....has been straightened several times
panhard rod...straightened several times
tow in tow out...at 0
the t-case mount is bent currently

I noticed the problem when i rotated front left and right tires. i have since switched them back and the pull is not as bad but is still there.

my fear is that since all the obvious causes seem to be ok is that there is something more sinister going on.

I have considered a bent frame but I don't think i have hit anything that hard.

any ideas?

I'm just throwing this out there, but would/could a bad diff cause that?

Greg,

yes a bad diff could cause that, especially if the spider gears are bad but it is a new diff.

brett...engine mounts are new. could the bad mounts cause this problem? if so, could the bad t-case mount cause this problem?

loose trailing arm bushings would do exactly that.
and so would the mis-matched tires - the pull will be towards the larger-sized tire.

Peter,

trailing arms are tight. I first noticed the problem when i moved tyres riht to left but the problem did not go completely away when i switched them back. wich leads me to beleive that it is not the tyres.

I am now leaning toward the t-case mount being bent. T-case has moved to the left by about 3 inches. If that doesn't fix it I am going to start getting nervous because about the next two causes that I can think of would be bent axle housing or frame unless someone else has an idea for me?

I'll give that a shot tonight and see if it fixes the problem. If it does I will post and let you all know. If it doesn't I will be asking questions again.

Brian, Thom,

how would that cause the pull under acceleration?

Trailing arm ears...

straightened out the t-case mount best i could. the puss seems much less pronounced but it also could be wishfull thinking.

I did not think about the trailing arm ears. that could be the problem. when i changed out my arms i had to pry the ears enough to get a socket in there. they are very mushed up. i will get to do some highway driving this weekend to test my newly straightened mount. if the pull is still strong that will be the next step.

Kyle...if it is the ears what do you recomend?

I think it's the toe angle... Reset to the factory spec and then see what you get.

Peace,
Paul

Keith,

Yes... figure if I bend one side on a trip and then bend the other on another trip I should be good to go.

Story for tomaro....

leave springs at 8:00 be at trail head around 10:-10:30. I should be able to find a way to stop by your house cause I also have to go to some other town near boulder, all of a sudden I can't remember the name of the town. Anyway...I will give you a shout.
