98 Discovery I, owned for 2 years and the rear wiper fluid has never worked. Saw the post a little farther down that suggested looking at plugged lines. Am I right in assuming that any blockage is probably at one end or the other? If that's the case, how do I get into the nozzle at the rear? Is the front end of the line at the resevoir self evident? Any guidance here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Kit |

Pull the washer resevoir (in the engine compartment) out and you will find two pumps attached underneath. One runs the windshield washers and the other runs the rear. Make sure both pumps are working. You will need to remove the two bolts on top (if memory serves) and two nuts where the resevoir bolts through to the fenderwell. The rear washer nozzle can be turned 1/4 turn (counter-clockwise, if memory serves correctly) and just pulled straight out. Thanks, Mike B. |

Also check the check valves. They have been the cause of my nozzle problems. |

Had the same problem. The pump was still going though. The actual problem was that where the washer hose meets the washer nozzle, the line had cracked and my washer fluid was siply squirting inside the body cavity. Pull it out and check it. I snipped the cracked bit off and reattached it. |
