I have a 99D2. Does anyone know what that hook located on the center console, in the passenger footwell, near the cig. lighter is for?

If you don't know what it's for, how have you used it?

Curious minds want to know...

Its called a currie hook. We hang trash bags and umbrellas off it.

lol...

Yes, it's a curry hook. Evidentally LR did a survey in the UK, what people would think would be "hip" in a vehicle. Indian food, particularly curry dishes, are a popular take-out food, and is usually handed over in a bag that works best if held up. By having that hook there, you can hang the take-out bag.

FWIW...

My wife hangs her purse on it.

We don't eat Indian food...Not that there's anything wrong with it.

I believe in making the
world safe for our children,
but not our children's children,
because I don't think children
should be having sex.

Does that mean you hung your son on it by his nuts?

No, see heard hook and passenger floor in the same sentence and hookers on their knees on the floor came to mind.
Probably happens to him all the time.
