Went round a mates house today and had to park in the road cause his drive was full. I asked him if it was safe to leave my golf clubs in the back in full view in his neighbourhood. He said no worries and that he might have something that would interest me. Turns out the guy who owned his house beforehand had a discovery and had left some stuff behind. One of those things was a load space cover for a D1. He said I could have it! Result! . He offered me the dog guard too. He was very pleased though when I explained to him that the dog guard was actually a fire guard to go round his wood stove! He also has a Freelander. Not that those two points are linked in any way.... Heh heh |
