If you are referring to the DSII, no, the 265s will not fit -- fully inflated. You need to invert the carrier. EE [ www.expeditionexchange.com ] has an excellent write-up on that topic.

I carry my 265 spare on the rear carrier and the carrier is not inverted. If you let the air out of the spare, it will fit there. However, I carry an on-board air source

Don't think it will fit if on a D2. Mine didn't even fit with 255x70x16 MTR's.

It needs flipping. You will need to drill two holes in a flat plate of steel, that's all.

I also had to flip mine for it to fit on my DII.

The directions are great at EE, but I skipped the part that they cut the carrier and moved my wiper arm a little.

ahem... uh... the 265/75x16 will fit on the D2 without flipping the carrier. At least my BFG AT's did. Maybe I just bashed the crap out of the rear bumper and now it fits or it's my fat a** stepping on the bumper that has pushed it down. I do have to slam the door but it fits and the tire rests on the bumper. I actually like having some of the weight of the tire supported by the bumper. :)

It will fit on a D1. That's what I have on now.

James thanks, the tire does fit with at least .25" to spare. Tim
