Help! Within the past week my '97 NA Disco has stalled three times approaching a stop . I have 95k miles on the Disco and replaced the fuel filter 10,000 miles ago. I did not locate any loose vacuum lines and do not have a check engine light on. Anybody have any ideas??? Thanks, Ira |

I have a 96 disco and had something similiar, it turned out to be a corroded connector on the wiring harness from the fuel pump. It might be a long shot but it is real easy to check. Check the stepper motor (idle air control valve) my disco was running rough stalling, etc and I cleaned the valve and it runs like a new truck. The valve cover vents upstream of it and I guess it gets gummed up after awhile. GoodLuck.....Ron |
