Does anyone know what size Torx the fill plug is on a five speed manual. '96 D1 in case that makes a difference. I have a T50 but it is bigger than that. Thanks in advance. Craig BTW, does anyone else find the LR shop manual a bit lacking? |

Yes T55, now what I did was replace it with an R380 wadingplug which uses an external 1/2in square. LT77 fits and uses an internal 1/2in plug. BTW, does anyone else find the LR shop manual a bit lacking? Not really, the R380 overhaul is pretty good. Ron |

Ron! Does that imply you did an R380 overhaul yourself? If so: Any tips&hints? |

Yeah definitely a 55, some one had burred mine and I had a shitter of a time to get it out. Ended up Mig welding a nut to it to undo it wioth a wrench. Found a plumbing plug with a nut on end and scewed this in. It'll be easier next time! |
