Got to replace a mud flap on my Disco....but what wild bolts are they on the securing bracket?

Mine are smooth headed, with a cone cap where the thread would normally be.

My guess is that I will have to saw-off the bolt, and then simply go down to the hardware store and buy two "normal" bolts/nuts and screw on tightly.

Am I right?

they aren't bolts, they are rivets and yeah, either drill them out (thats what I did), grind them off, or cut them off w/ a hacksaw and then go buy regular bolts to replace them.

Just take them all off and never have to worry again.
