Was wandering if anyone could help me with a D90 problem. Car has battery power and accesories work, but when key is turned to start, nothing happens. No starter motor or anything. Anyone have any advice? thanks Dan |

Do you have an alarm? Same thing (same symptoms) happened to my bro-in-law's RR last week. Roadside assistance took it to the dealer and dealer reset the alarm. Apparently there was an attempt to steal it and the alarm shut the power to the starter motor or some BS like that. . Goodluck! -glenn |

It does not have an alarm HOWEVER if the vehicle is a 97 it will still have a security ECU. This ECU has to have the proper "handshake" with the GEMS ECU to let the vehicle start. If it has lost the security code for some reason (wouldn't be the first one I've seen) it will have to be set with testbook. The 97 D90 also has a ABS module and the only thing it is used for is to turn off the misfire monitor during rough road detection. |

Dan, Don't know if D90s have them but Discos have a CRASH Can behind the window washer reservoir, press the button on top it resets it if it is tripped. |
