Well, I thought that It might just be becausei ts been cold. I mean, real cold. But the past few days getting into the cold car, the steering is giving me that horrible whine. reminds me of an old chevy PU when you turn the steering wheel all the way and hold it. I have PS fluid, it looked up to the fill line last night ( though it was dark) is this my PS pump struggling? is it cold related? Thanks in advance for the help |

Josh, Same thing happens with my wife's 95, but not with my 94... It only happens when it is REALLY cold like this, I would guess it is some of the plastic contracting due to the temp.. BTW... the Thule racks are working out great! I won't need them for my fishing rods this summer because I bought a really nice rod holder - a 21' Alcar Center Console!!!! I'll send pics of the rack and the new boat soon... Chuckster |

my '94 does it too. i was told it was the bushing in the column behind the dash. it cost me roughly $800.00 to remedy. but that's because i just bought a louder stereo. |

My 95 was doing it too. There was fluid in the powersteering res. but after reading the manual I checked it when it was cold, added some fluid and the whining promptly went away. Something strange is that my engine seems to warm up quicker now. B.K. |
