'02 Disco II getting at high pitched whine/noise at about 70+ mph. I turn the radio off and I can still hear it. Anyone know what this is from? It sounds like the high frequency static I used to get when I played around with amps and subwoofers.

My '02 has it too. I was wondering if it's normal. Apparently so. It's definitely gear whine and not electronic.

T-case noise and it is normal. They changed something in the case in 02 and they all have that low volume whine.
