I've seen you guys talk about hand signals, so what one is the guy giving in pic two?

I have actually seen that happen in real life (not the exact same incident as pictured though). Quite funny in a sick sort of way, didn't stick around long enough to find out what went wrong though.

I've never done that, but I have launched my boat with the drain plugs removed!

Embarassing to have to pull your boat out of the water again to drain it just after you launched it...

I've seen the drain plug one often. I've also seen someone drive their brand new boat around with the trailer attached. He drove the boat in, unhooked the trailer, drove the boat around the harbor (with the trailer attatched) then back to the ramp hooked the trailer back to the car and left. People were watching but no one said a thing to the guy. This was a long time ago but I still laugh thinking about it.

As for the hand signals in photo 2 -- looks like "Forward is that way! Dumb ass!"

Is that a Sub-Burban?

Here's a new idea...use your Jet Ski to pull your Truck out of the water!

I have pulled a number of stalled trucks outa boat landings over the years

its always the same thing...newbie boat lancher backs in to far tires drop off the last concrete slab gas tank fills with water ,newbie is screwed.

having owned a boat company I have launched a buncha boats in my day and I like to help people at the boat landing just to speed things up. nothing worse than getting to a boat landing being 10th in line and watching someone wrestle with backing up a boat traler!

I guy a know floated his 4Runner in a similar manner. Luckily all the windows were up and the doors were closed ... problem was, he was launching the boat by himself, so nobody was in the truck.
