To quote the great Jerry Reed, "Hoss, you ain't gonna beleive this...that somebitch just tried drive up under my truck!"

Stopped in traffic, plowed into by a benz e class doing about 20. Right on the passenger side endcap. Barely a dent under the endcap, nothing more than a ding. The benz will need a new quarter panel.

Buy more land rover vehicles.

Are you and Fred injury free?

Fred is fine. Just a litle "thin in the skin" because we both had to skip lunch over this bullsnap.

His insurance guy just called me, any damage I should check for?

Always good to check the alignment - things could have bent or shifted a little bit. And remember that you can possibly claim any mechanical failures over the next few months as being a result of this impact.

Oh yeah, I lost a mudflap too. You're all invited to it's funeral.

Sean Hanagen you are well versed in your Smokey and the Bandit trivia.

I'd love a diablo sandwhich right about now. I'd scarf it like Buford T. I'd even have time for hushpuppies now.

BTW, my favorite line in that movie is when B.T. Justice is waiting for the funeral procession to pass by and he tells junior, "If they had creamted the son of bitch, I'd be kicking that Bandit's ass around the moon by now."

One of the best movies of all time, no doubt.

Matt,
I'm with you! It's in my top ten for sure. My favorite line has to be when B.T and Junior come up on the kids trying to strip Junior's car."You can think about it but don't do it" As a teacher I love to throw that one out there once and a while and watch a kids look at me with their heads tilted at about 30 degrees? Gotta keep it fun:)

I saw one parked at the choke and puke. I thought I saw big Enis driving her. It looked like a series III 109 safari wagon.:)

No...

At the place where Hot Pants Hilliard worked, when everyone piled out of the parking lot to start the "rolling roadblock", the vehicle left sitting in the parking lot is an 88"....

:)

Sean, what we have here is a total lack of respect.... :)
