can anyone tell be if the front windshield deicer should turn on intermittently with heat set on auto. I know it will come on if you hit the dfrost button but mine seems to have a mind of its' own. dealer says normal. |

hmmmm... being in texas, i have to say i don't use that option often, but no...mine never has. it only comes on when i either turn it on or i turn on the uber-defrost button... mike |

Yes, it turns on automaticlly with the heat. If the system is set to auto and the heat is on a higher temp, the system might blow air out the top vents and the front defrost will turn automaticlly to assist in the heating. Mine does this all the time as I use auto most of the time. |
