Is there any way to replace the little lights in the dash switches (fog lights, radio volume, rear defrost, etc.) or do I have to get new switches? |

Just pull the switch out and there should be a little bulb that screws out. They cost a buck or so. |

Is it those little green or yellow plastic screwey-looking things? |

I was just driving tonight and I realized that there are no lights illuminating my heater/air controls and nobs on my 97 d1. Are there supposed to be lights behind these switches? |

Robert, Yes there is one light bulb that runs them all take a pair of needle nose pliers, and pull the 3 round nobbs off. also pull the fan selector nob, they just pull rite off. Then you will see a few screws, undo them. The whole facia, if you will, of the heater controls comes off, and there is a small bulb in the middle there, that sheds light to all those controls. easy fix, takes about 15 min. |
