Do you guys leave your Hi-lift/Jack-all on your roof rack/outside in the winter time?

I do, I probably shouldn't though. I spray it with lithium grease and WD-40 often though to keep it going.

i just leave it there to rust, and then cuss and swear when it doesn't click. it is really nice to have something to bitch about.

I take my Jack-All off after each use and store it in the garage. However, I'm in Florida and things rust here incredibly quickly.

Thanks,
Mike B.

Mine stays on my truck, and is cleaned and lubricated weekly.

Mine is mounted to the front of my ARB front bumper, just above the winch.

I should clean it more often, but I always carry WD-40 and a screwdriver with me, and between the two it has never failed me yet.

A few weeks ago I got my Jack-All so covered in mud that whether it had been clean before using it didn't really matter. I think it is more important to have the WD-40, and some sort of a lever to encourage the pins to unlock when they get all mucked up.
