Snowing like crazy in Central Virginia. But I'm back at the office....

Pros and Cons of owning a Rover: Fun to drive in the snow, but you CAN get out in the snow! I'll probably have to rescue my boss tomorrow morning!

Max, my sister's in Raleigh and she was ecstatic that she was getting snowflakes!!

Central VA is getting hit pretty hard tonight. Gonna make a midnight snow run to Krispy Kreme! I'll take a photo for all you guys and gals in the southern climes.

Woohoo!

Drove home to Knoxville, TN today from Nashville, TN. 8 HOURS! We got some snow, it was really coming down in Nashville, nothing too much here in Knoxville but the roads are worse than they were in Nashville.. Love the snow...

Just a couple of pics of Nashville around 10 this morning.. the 18 wheeler barely missed a major collision, then slid towards us into the median, crazy stuff

Camille - sounds like those idiots didn't know how to drive their Jeeps in the snow. such a shame.

it's snowing pretty good here, and my rear wiper decided to break on my. freakin' Lucas.....

I think Mantaray forgets that Jeep makes 2wd models as well :) Lets hope Rover never follows them down that path.

shoulda seen all the 2wd jeeps out here. I did see one disco that was lifted and had MTR's looked pretty cool chugging along in the snow. If only my D-90 were here.

I was supposed to drive to Newbern NC for a funeral tomorrow, meant to beat the snow eastward, but ended up getting away from here too late... The Subaru was doing great out there, but there were too many other idiots out on the roads, so, I decided to play it safe and turn around and head home instead, and not risk it since I had my daughter with me.

We had nothing at 2:30, which is when it started flurrying; by 3:30, there was an inch, by 4:30 there were 3, and we were up to 5 inches around 8 oclock, and it's not really slowing any that I can tell yet....

It's not that it's a thick snow, but it's a slick one... Kinda fun, driving past the 4x4 pickups in the little Roo sedan... :)

Carter - i didn't forget, i just haven't seen many 2WD Jeeps north of the Carolinas. personally have never seen a 2WD Jeep in VA, though i'm sure there are a good many Libbys out there that are. 2WD or not, if you end up in the ditch, chances are you were driving like an idiot.
