I just got a rear third member from a guy that rolled his disco. I'm not sure how I can identify the parts. Is there something I can look for to tell what exactly I got.

a detroit has a completly closed center of the diff(no exposed spider or side gears)

do the math divide the number of teeth on the ring by the number on the pinion. the result is the ratio...example 41teeth ring 11 pinion=3.73 ratio
