Hi all, Still seem to have an intermittant power loss under load ie, hill ascent.
I've changed plugs Distributor cap, rotor, plug leads. LPG set timing to 9 deg BTDC.LPG runs hotter so advance of timing is recommended
I put the foot down on the accelerator and nothing happens, the Tacho doesn't even increase in revs and the engine doesn't seem to have any grunt, then on the level surface, it regains acceleration.
This power loss happens both on LPG and Petrol, and is intermittant.
I have read on that the vehicle speed sensor IF FAULTY could lean a bank and cause poor driving with power loss. Any views?
How do I test a VSS?
And if a VSS is faulty, then why would the speedometer still give a reading?
Any Help appreciated.
Thanks in advance
