I was wondering which shaft is most likely to break first? Not that I'm looking for statistics, just from peoples experience. Is there a shaft more likely to go first? I'm thinking the two in the rear are more likely to break. I've noticed most are more aggresive going up an obstical(sometimes neccesarily) vs. going down an obstical(most often under engine braking and the pedal). So my thesis is :The rear shafts on a 4x4 are under more pressure or force than the front shafts.

Chris,

n my experience it is the left rear. Long side. I have broken two...then upgraded to GBR, since then I broke the front left...long side again. I bet that the long side is common to break.

Brian - what did you do to break the GBR, or did you have the batch with bad hardening?
