I am in the process of buying a used transfer case for my 96 Disco, Auto trans. I am continually asked for the suffix number (F or G). I have been told that either will work. What is the difference? Is one better (more updated) then the other? What is the newest year transfer case I can put in my 96 Disco? |

You might be able to use a LT230SE from the D2's. They've been uprated to handle more torque. But if you go this route be sure it has the CDL nipple (1999-2000). |

Make sure you get one that has a cross drilled 3in input gear. LT230Q and LT230SE will both fit a DI Ron |
