Hiya All My '91 Tdi Disco has developed a tinkle sounding noise from the front somewhere, but I can't figure out what it is. I've got a feeling it's a drive shaft or CV, but I'm not sure. When drive is being passed to the wheels, the noise goes away, but when I'm appraoching a halt sign or generally coasting, the sound comes back. It's like a light tinkle sound as if something is loose or broken. I've been off-road recently, but I didn't sense any traction problems and I think drive is being passed to all four wheels OK. Has anyone else had this problem, or does anyone have any suggestions? Cheers |
