WTF is my sunroof's problem? When I start my car, it opens automatically, so I shut it. Then it immediately opens again, so I shut it once more. Then again, so I shut it, and it stops for about 20 minutes, and goes on a random cycle of opening by itself. When I took it to the dealer, of course, it never acted up, not once, and the guy said that the only way to look at it would be to completely disassemble the roof, which would be quite expensive. I said forget it, and as soon as I started it up, it opened again, filling my cabin with four-letter words. Can someone tell me what my sunroof's problem is, and what I (and I stress "I") can do to fix it? Troubled in Tennessee |

Well, I'd like to be able to use it every now and then. In normal working order that is. |

Adam, If its a series 1, the ecu is the culpret. Its behind the front dome light assembly. I think it is green. unplug it or sooner or later, you will come out and it will already be open before you get to your car. I have seen them open with no key in ignition once. Common problem on series1. I think series 2 maybe simular. Joe |

Joe, the ecu under the passenger seat? Is there any way to restore it to normal working order? |
