Hi there, I recently had a headgasket replacement (5 months) which due to a previous disaster involving a complete rebuild also required a new head. At the time the engineer replacing the head had the top mating surface of the block checked for twist as a result of the previous history of overheating, he told me that there was a 3 thou distortion but we decided that the gasket would probably take this. But it would seem not to be the case. Any help would be appreciated. |
